Dr. Delos did a TKR ( total knee replacement) on my left knee 3 years ago, all went well. On February 20 2025, I had my right TKR done by Dr. Delos, once again surgery all went well. One problem I had (not his fault or staff), was the nerve block, It lasted 29 and a half hours. Yes they told me it’s possible it could last for 30 hours. My past knee and a past hip replacement, with the same amount of nerve block and same brand nerve block, only lasted about 2 hours in recovery. It was a bit scary only because the next morning at 29 hours I still had no motion in my leg. After the nerve block finally wore off, PT (Access PT) came to my house and had me up and moving around with a walker. A few days later, while I was doing PT with Karen Tunney from Access PT, she noticed a rash starting on my leg and said you have allergic reaction from Celbrex, stop taking it and call the doctor. I stopped taking Celbrex and the rash started going away. So a BIG thank you to Karen for all her help!
